When Dreams Take Flight is a CBC funded documentary that follows the construction and flight testing of the world’s first successful human-powered ornithopter. The film explores the inventors and engineers over the past centuries who have risked life and limb to achieve the dream of human-powered, bird-like flight. DVDs will be available soon.

Human Power: the Documentary Film

Human Power follows the fascinating story of a small, unique group of individuals consumed by the obscure passion to build and race the world’s fastest bicycles at the World Human Powered Speed Challenge in Battle Mountain, Nevada. AeroVelo team members and the University of Toronto Human-Powered Vehicle Design Team, play a small role racing ”ACE” in 2010 and “Vortex” in 2011.
